A gift that I made for my CRM at Barnes and Noble. Actually it's more of an exchange than a gift, because she in return is making 4 pairs of earring (from beads) for me.
I couldn't post it sooner because it went to Student Art Show. But now I got it back and here it is!!!! Actually it is a very simple piece, it has only one layer of metal and the bezel is attached to it. And I DID NOT cut those little triangles on the bezel, I kinda cheated and just bought a bezel wire already cut that way. Since it was only one layer, I added texture to it (before cutting) and then soldered those little flowers on top. BUT I notised that I had that space in a middle, and I didn't have anything to put on it... so I just cut out letter "E" and soldered it on. Ellen LOVED it!!! And it makes me happy that she did. I LOVE the earrings she made for me too... he-he. Size is about 5X4cm. Chain is 24in. To see a bakside [link] To see close up [link] |
